Greek Jigsaw Instructions

Jigsaw Overview:

You have been given an article.  It now is your job to become an expert on your topic.  You will be using the knowledge that you gain to present to the rest of the class.  The information you are covering is information that you need in order to understand what is going on in Oedipus Rex.

Jigsaw Directions:

  1. Read your assigned article.
  2. Locate the main points in the article.  What does the rest of the class need to know?
  3. Locate an additional article about your topic.  Locate the main points in this article.
  4. Transfer these main points into a presentation to share with your classmates.  Think about what constitutes a good presentation.  I should be able to read the text in terms of both size and color.  You also should incorporate pictures and a works cited.
  5. Post a link to your presentation on the forum under the Oedipus section.  (If you cannot link to it, you may want to just post your takeaway points.)
